Be a doer, not a talker

Talkers love a grand strategy or theory which neatly explains things that have already happened. They will be quick to claim that this 20/20 hindsight also helps predict how the future will unravel.
Don’t be a sucker. No one knows how the future will unfurl - if a grand strategy or theory gets it right, it’s because even a broken clock is correct twice a day.
Improvements to your life or changes to history happen because people do things - they take incremental steps to improve things over time. The art of tinkering until you land on something better is done by trying many ideas and then ramping up the ones that work. You don't have to have the solution to every problem, you just need to make continuous steps to improve your position over time.
Leave grand strategy and theory for the talkers while you get on with being a doer.
